Paul F. Tompkins has a resume most comics would dream of: regular at L.A.’s Largo and UCB Theater, writer/performer for such luminary television shows as Mr. Show with Bob and David, Tenacious D, and The Sarah Silverman Program, and actor in films like Steven Soderbergh’s The Informant and Paul Thomas Anderson’s Magnolia. He previously hosted VH1’s Best Week Ever, has two CD’s, two Comedy Central Presents specials, and one HBO half-hour special under his belt.

Paul F. Tompkins’ appearances outside of Los Angeles are rare, and the intimate confines of Re-bar will prove a unique viewing experience. Tompkins is appearing courtesy of Pabst Blue Ribbon Canned Laughter Comedy, which started its life in 2009 as a West Coast tour featuring Neil Hamburger, Mike O’Connell and Randy Liedtke..
